To make traveling easier, the Baby Planet 3 Wheel Travel system has a basket under the seat and a parent tray with hideaway storage and two cup holders.  Our only complaint is that the basket is on the smaller side and can be difficult to access when the seat is reclined.

We love that the UPPAbaby Vista folds up small.  It can be carried in its own carry bag, which is about the size of medium duffel like you would take to the gym.  This means that it easily fits into the trunk of the car, onto busses, and up and down stairs.  The only disadvantage to this is that you have to remove the wheels, which can be a bit of a pain.

The seat of the UPPAbaby Vista does recline, allowing your little one to take a nap on the go.  The nice-sized storage basket can still be accessed when the stroller is reclined.  We do wish that the stroller had included a cup holder for the price, but UPPAbaby does sell an optional one that you can attach.

We love the bright red color of the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4.  Plus it offers a sleek, modern-looking design that is sure to turn heads.  Our Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 travel system even came with a matching diaper bag that is great for throwing all of our essentials into.

This stroller folds up very compactly for travelers – you can even put it in the overhead bin on the plane.  Compared to other travel system strollers, at just 18 pounds the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 is amazingly light.

We don’t love the canopy on the Quinny 2010 Zapp 4.  It is small, and since the child sits upright it doesn’t offer a lot of coverage unless the sun is immediately overhead.  The fact that the travel system stroller doesn’t recline at all does limit its usability some after your child has outgrown the infant carrier.  On the other hand, the fact that this stroller can handle up to 80 pounds means that as long as you don’t want to recline, you will be able to use this stroller well into toddlerhood.

While this Quinny travel system stroller folds up amazingly small, it is a bit complicated to do.  This is especially true when you still need to use the infant seat.  So plan on needing a few extra minutes to load or unload your child and get this stroller folded up.  On the other hand, its small size makes it easy to store in a car trunk or take on public transportation.

The Quinny 2010 Zapp 4 is very easy to push and steer on even ground.  It is not designed for off-road or very uneven surfaces.  The handles are a little short for taller parents, and my husband does not like pushing this stroller.

For the kids this stroller is reasonably comfortable.  We do wish that the seat offered at least some recline, because our son cannot really take a nap in it comfortably.

Not Ideal for:

The Eddie Bauer Adventurer received a “very good” rating from Consumer Reports in terms of safety.  The stroller itself offers a five-point harness, which is the best option for buckling your child in.  Five-point harnesses fasten over the shoulders, between the legs, and across the lap to hold your child in the seat securely.

The Eddie Bauer Adventurer also comes with a Designer 22 car seat which is rated for 5 to 22 lbs. and 19 to 29 inches.  It can be used in your vehicle with a LATCH system or with the regular seatbelt to allow you to travel safely with your child.

To provide safety on the go, this baby travel system stroller also offers rear wheel brakes which will lock the wheels in place to prevent rolling while loading/unloading your child or when you need to step away from the stroller.

Design:

Rating: ★★★½☆ 

The Eddie Bauer Adventurer comes in several fabric colors.  While none of them are going to stand out in a crowd, they are gender enough that you could reuse the travel system for another child down the road.

We loved the one-handed fold option for this stroller as well as the fact that it stays standing when it is folded.  This makes it easy to get it in and out of the car when we are on the road without having to figure out what to do with the baby.

The Eddie Bauer Adventurer has a nice-sized canopy and comfortable seat for the little ones.  The seat reclines flat if you want to use it with a newborn or for a diaper change.  It also has a great parent tray with deep cup holders and an ample storage basket for carrying your diaper bag and other accessories.

Convenience:

We find that the storage basket is big enough for day trips.  It would have been nice if the Eddie Bauer Adventurer travel system had included additional storage on the seat back, but the covered compartment on the parent tray does give us a place for our cell phone.

The one-handed fold and self-standing feature is nice for loading and unloading.  However the Eddie Bauer Adventurer is on the heavy side, so it can be a bit of a pain to lift it in and out of the car.  It is also rather large even when folded, so if you have a small car it will take up most, if not all, of your trunk space.

The Eddie Bauer Adventurer is a dream to push.  It is large enough to hold your things, yet has a tight enough turn radius that you can push it down narrow aisles and between shopping racks.

We love that you can use the infant carrier with this stroller.  Then, once your child has outgrown the car seat, you can still use the travel system stroller.  The fully reclining, padded seat is quite comfortable for most toddlers.

Not Ideal for:

This travel system stroller is not going to be ideal for someone driving a small car or who has to take public transportation.  The stroller is large even when folded, and handling the stroller and car seat while trying to get on and off of a bus can be difficult.

Cons:

The larger size of the Eddie Bauer Adventurer can be a pain to lug around and store.  We wish the handle adjusted for my taller husband.  One-touch brakes would also have been nice to help cut down the amount of time it takes to load and unload the stroller.

The Safety 1^st Jaunt received an “excellent” rating from consumer reports for safety.  The car seat that comes with this travel system, the Designer 22, offers a five-point harness and side impact protection so that you know your little one will be safe both in and out of the car.  We loved how easy it is to transfer the seat from the car base to the stroller without waking the baby.  Once your little one is older, he or she can use the Safety 1^st Jaunt stroller without the car seat.  The stroller itself has a three point harness for more comfort for your child.

This travel system stroller also has rear brakes that can be set independently when you are not in motion.  These prevent the stroller from rolling away if you need to step away from the stroller.

Design:

Rating: ★★★★☆ 

The Safety 1^st Jaunt offers a few different fabric options to choose from and the car seat always matches the stroller which is cute.  The one-handed fold design is quite convenient, and we loved that it would stand on its own once folded.

The sun canopy is a nice size, and we really liked that it has a peek-a-boo window so that we can check on the baby while we are walking.

Both the parent and the child get a tray with cup holder, which is great for snacks on the go.  For additional storage space, the Safety 1^st Jaunt also has a nice-sized basket under the seat, which easily holds our diaper bag.

Convenience:

Rating: ★★★½☆ 

The large storage basket is nice, especially when you are using the Safety 1^st Jaunt with your newborn and need to bring half the nursery with you just to get out of the house.  We do wish that there was a seat back pocket as well for easier access to small items.

The one-handed fold is a very nice feature as you don’t always have both hands to fold the travel system down while holding the baby.  The fact that it will remain standing after folding makes it very easy to load in and out of the car.

Like most travel systems, the Safety 1^st Jaunt is on the larger and heavier side.  It will fit into the trunk of your car, but don’t expect to be able to fit much else in around it.

This stroller is very easy to push, and will work well both around the neighborhood and around stores in the mall.  It is easy to turn and maneuver even in small spaces.

Once your child has outgrown the infant carrier, the seat offers padded sides and multiple reclining positions.  Keep in mind that the main stroller is not designed for children younger than 6 months.

Not Ideal for:

Travel systems may not be ideal for parents with limited trunk space.  The stroller and car seat together can also be difficult to manage if you need to fold the stroller up to use public transportation.

Cons:

We disliked that you can only use the Safety 1^st Jaunt with a newborn if you have the car seat with you.  Its larger size can also make transporting and storing the travel system difficult.  While it will fit in a sedan trunk, there is not going to be room for much else with the stroller in there.

For mom and dad we would have liked to see an adjustable handle.  I can push the stroller with no problems, but it is a little short for my husband.  This stroller can also become difficult to push over grass or other unpaved surfaces.

The Graco Stylus received an “Excellent” safety rating from Consumer Reports, the highest rating possible.  Besides being compatible with the SnugRide infant car seat that comes with the travel system, the seat of the Graco Stylus features a five-point harness, the preferred method for securing your child.

Another great feature of the Graco Stylus is that if offers one-touch rear brakes that latch your stroller into place when you stop with just one tap of your foot.  This is essential to making sure that the stroller stays in place if you step away from a moment, and will help keep the stroller steady when you load and unload your child.

We also loved that this Graco stroller is PBDE-free.  These chemicals have been linked to cancer, and knowing that this stroller does not have them in it makes us feel even better about using it with our child.

Design:

Rating: ★★★★½ 

We greatly appreciate how easy the Graco Stylus travel stroller is to use.  Simply snap the infant car seat into the stroller and you can go from the car to the stroller and back again without ever disturbing your child.  Plus, once your child has outgrown the infant seat, this travel system is good for use as a stroller until your child weighs 50 pounds.

We love how there is plenty of storage space on the Graco Stylus.  Besides the under the seat basket, which is large enough for a diaper bag or purse, both the parent and the child get a tray with a cup holder.

Since this is a travel system, the Graco Stylus also comes with the matching car seat.  The car seat is rated for up to 22 pounds and 29”, so will last an average-sized baby much of the first year and allow for maximum portability.

The only downside of the Graco Stylus is that it is heavier than some strollers.  It may be difficult for people who have to use public transportation or need to carry it up and down stairs frequently.
